Have you ever felt or thought the idea that may come acrossed that you are not treated as a so called ‘human being’?

Being a student in a foreign country often comes with its own set of challenges, but one of the most difficult situations to navigate is when a teacher does not treat you with basic respect during class. Unfortunately, this is a reality for many students, and it’s a problem I’ve encountered in the last three months.

From the beginning of the class, it was clear that something was off. The teacher, instead of fostering a welcoming environment for learning, seemed to view me and my classmates more as tasks to be completed rather than individuals. There was no empathy, no encouragement, and certainly no interest in understanding the different backgrounds we came from. I will call her boo in this instance. Boo says when we speak we shouldnt be like robots. But rather normal people. But it also sounded like I’m Not a human being in that introspective. Its not that I’m Being blamed or mad. Boo thinks its better. But the way of this enforcement of education is somewhat wrong. It’s How I feel.

In my personal experience, there was one time I cried during class time. I felt really bad and dehumanized when I just sat in class. It was so bad too the point…
